In this video, we catch a rare sight – WAG-12 class electric locomotive resting in the goods yard at Palakkad Junction This isn’t just any loco — the WAG-12 is a 12,000 hp twin-section freight monster, built for India’s Dedicated Freight Corridors. The locomotive number 60086, based at Saharanpur shed, fitted with Faiveley LX3600 single-arm pantographs as per the IRFCA records. Some background: Alstom + RDSO collaboration, built at Madhepura, its power and role in freight corridors
