Railfanning at Uthralikkavu Temple Premises| Thrissur-Shoranur Busy Route #trainvideos #trainlovers
Experience the thrill of railfanning from the sacred premises of Uthralikkavu Temple (ശ്രീ രുധിരമഹാകാളികാവ്), near Wadakkanchery, in the Thrissur district of Kerala.

🎉 Uthralikkavu Pooram, one of the grandest temple festivals of Kerala after Thrissur Pooram, draws massive crowds each year during February and March, especially for its thunderous firework displays — the second biggest after Nenmara Vallangi Vela.

🚆 Just behind the temple lies a busy stretch of electrified double railway line between Thrissur and Shoranur — one of Southern Railway’s busiest corridors, with over 200 trains daily!

⚠️ Tragedy struck in 2012, when the Jan Shatabdi Express collided with spectators on the track, emphasizing the need for safety and awareness.

🎥 In this video, witness the rush and roar of Indian Railways as trains thunder past this culturally rich and historically tragic location.

📍Location: Uthralikkavu Temple, Wadakkanchery, Thrissur, Kerala
📅 Festival Season: February – March
