Captured on 30th September 2025, this video shows the delayed arrival of Train No. 06523 SMVT Bengaluru – Thiruvananthapuram North (Kochuveli) Special as it approaches Platform No. 3 at Palakkad Junction Railway Station.
Scheduled to depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 7:30 PM, the train started almost 2.5 hours late (10:00 PM) due to an air conditioner failure in one of the coaches. This incident highlights the recurring problem of poor maintenance and mismanagement by Indian Railways, causing inconvenience to hundreds of passengers.
Despite the setback, railfans and passengers at Palakkad Junction were able to witness the arrival of this long-distance special train. Covering 813 km in 17 hours 50 minutes with 19 halts and 142 intermediate stations, the train connects Bengaluru with Kerala’s capital region.
